Is your club ready to dominate the coast?
South Coast Cup entries are open to eligible boardrider clubs from Bondi to the NSW/VIC border. Entry is $550 per team, places are capped at 15 clubs, and entries close on Friday 1 May 2026 unless the field fills earlier. Review the event details, then lock in your accommodation before completing the external entry form.

Territory & Eligibility
Entry is limited to registered Boardrider Clubs located between South Sydney (Bondi) and the NSW/VIC Southern Border.
The Tag-Team Format
Forget individual glory. This is a battle of the tribes. Each club fields a team of six surfers in a tag team relay.
- 50-Minute Heats: All six surfers must complete waves and return to the box within time.
- Best Wave Counts: Unlimited waves allowed. Best wave from each surfer counts toward team total.
- Bonus Points: First three teams to finish within 50 mins earn +3, +2, or +1 bonus points.
The Rule Book
Team Roster
- 1 Junior Boy (U/20, must not turn 20 in 2026)
- 1 Junior Girl (U/20, must not turn 20 in 2026)
- 1 Open Woman
- 2 Open Men
- 1 Master (40+, must have turned 40 by 2025)
- Females must surf 3rd and 4th in team order.
Scoring
- Best wave from each surfer counts toward team total.
- All six surfers must return to the box within 50 minutes.
- Interference: scoring wave recorded as 0.
- Tie-break: highest scoring wave, then second highest, and so on.

After You Register
Once your entry and payment are confirmed, JBB will send a separate form requesting:
- Team rider names
- Rider info for commentators
- LiveHeats registration details
Rider names and commentator info due: Monday 4 May 2026.
Quick FAQ
Can we hold a spot before payment lands?
No. Places are confirmed once payment is received and reconciled to your club name.
Do we submit the rider list with the payment?
Not yet. The rider and commentator details are collected after your club entry is confirmed.
What should we organise in the same session?
Most clubs will want to review the event page, lock in accommodation, and then complete the Google Form once bank transfer details are ready.
